Today, Thursday June 25, 2009 is a sad day.

Michael Jackson, the king and legend of pop is dead. He died at 2:26pm California time. He has passed onto a better place. This news came to my attention as I came home from work today. I thought it was a joke or a lie or some sort of dream. And to this I wish it was.

It had always been one of my greatest wish to meet this man. I remember many times I had gotten in a fight over him because I couldn’t stand people hating on him. Loyalty to him had always been something I greatly acquired.

But that’s it not the reason I mourn. Today is a sad day; it seems music has died. This is the day of the death of a legend. I can only hope that history will treat him better than people did.
